Individuals in need of assistance for replacement food stamps may apply at Job & Family Services of Clark County, 1345 Lagonda Avenue. Applications will be accepted from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. today, Friday, September 19, 2008 and Saturday, September 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the WorkPlus Center. This assistance is available to those who currently receive the Ohio Direction Card and may have had a loss of perishable food as a result of the widespread power outage. Individuals should bring a photo id when applying.
Families or individuals who were scheduled for an initial screening and/or intake through the BenefitsPlus division will receive priority and JFSCC staff will contact those persons. If those individuals do not have power or phones, please visit our office or call 327-1872.
Individuals in need of rescheduling benefit redeterminations should contact his/her case manager. Individuals will not face penalties or sanctions as a result of the power outage and the offices being closed from September 15 through September 17, 2008.
Individuals who need to reschedule Child Support hearings or appointments should contact Ms. Dianne Henderson at 327-3655.
