New Deputy Director of the BenefitsPlus Division
Job and Family Services of Clark County (JFSCC) is pleased to announce the promotion of Theresa (Terry) Perkins to Deputy Director of the BenefitsPlus Division. Ms. Perkins has been employed at Job and Family Services since 1971. She began her career as a Welfare Aide 1. Throughout her career at JFSCC she has steadily taken on more responsibility and been promoted several times. Positions that she has held include: Case Manager, Income Maintenance Supervisor 1, Income Maintenance Supervisor 2 and most recently she served as Assistant Deputy Director of BenefitsPlus.
The BenefitsPlus Division of JFSCC helps families eliminate obstacles in gaining and maintaining employment as well as supporting themselves. Benefits that are provided to qualified individuals include financial assistance, food programs, medical coverage, transportation and child care. These programs are essential factors in helping citizens secure and keep a job while supporting a family.
