Paul Tough Event this Wednesday!
Wittenberg University presents Paul Tough, author of Whatever It Takes: Geoffrey Canada's Quest To Change Harlem and America.
Paul Tough is an editor at the New York Times Magazine and one of America's foremost writers on poverty, education and the achievement gap. In his presentation to the Springfield community, Paul will describe the incredible work of the Harlem Children's Zone as he explains what Geoffrey Canada learned when he posed the question, "What would it take to change the lives of poor children?"
This free event is open to the community and will be held at the Springfield High School, 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 28, 2009.
