November is National Adoption Month
Please join us in celebrating November as National Adoption Month, in recognition of the 129,000 children and youth in foster care waiting for adoptive homes. This includes over 35 children right here in Clark County. These children need the nurturing stability that placement in permanent loving adoptive families can bring. National Adoption Month website, funded by the Children's Bureau, urges Americans to come forward and open their hearts and homes, particularly to those children who wait longest for adoption, including sibling groups, minorities, and older children and teens.
