Pipefitter
Experienced Pipefitter needed to work with a company that will repair gas lines in Springfield and surrounding areas.
Duties to include:
· Locate and identify curb valve
· Operate curb valve
· Take measurements and use levels and other measurement tools
· Cut and thread black iron pipe
· Drill holes through wood and concrete
· Install brackets and pipe hangers
· Identify damaged or defective piping and materials
· Disassemble existing piping systems
· Re-route gas piping system to specific location
· Test gas piping system
· Manage inventory/crew materials
· Maintain work vehicle and equipment
· Document all work completed
· Must be able to use tools such as: Generator, threader, band saw, reciprocating saw, hole hawg, drill, pipe wrenches, channel lock pliers, crescent wrench, tape measure, torpedo level
