Parents as Partners, Celebrates its Second Year

Parents as Partners, a free relationship education program offered through Job and Family Services of Clark County, completed their second year in June. Participants attended a family picnic to celebrate their successes. During this two year period the program has assisted participants (147 couples and 15 single parents) with strengthening their communication and life skills in order to meet the emotional, physical and financial needs of their children. Additionally, the program was presented to local county schools, Opportunities for New Directions (an ex-offender program) and OIC’s Job Readiness program and Learning Opportunities Center.
