Success Story - Pam

The safety and well-being of children is our number one concern

Bringing Their Family Together Was The Greatest Gift They Could Have Imagined.

After her two daughters were placed in foster care, Pam became determined to be reunified with her children. Pam worked diligently with her social worker and the team of service providers who met regularly to discuss her progress. She interacted so well with her children that visitation once scheduled for the Visitation Center quickly moved to her own home with supervision. She became involved with McKinley Hall and started parenting classes.

Recognizing that the foster family was helping her girls, Pam developed a relationship with their foster mother and attended school functions and doctor appointments with her daughters. She and the girls started spending time working with Project Jericho, a collaboration between The Department of Job and Family Services and The Clark State Performing Arts Center, where they attended workshops.

Pam and her daughters were reunified just before Christmas. Pam makes sure the girls receive regular counseling, and she continues to improve her own skills through parenting classes, remaining involved with McKinley Hall and Project Jericho.

She and the girls look forward to moving into their own home within the next month. Pam is so grateful to have the girls home now and spends every minute she can with them.
