They Created A Family For Each Other

Gavin and April were hoping to have a family of their own. After dealing with the grief when they had trouble conceiving, they decided to adopt. They started the process to become a foster to adopt family.

While Gavin and April were going through the process, they met a little girl named Hannah. Though she had recently been placed with another family, they decided they couldn’t care for Hannah’s physical and developmental needs. After years in loving foster care homes, what Hannah really needed was a family of her own.

Caseworkers saw the potential family that Gavin, April, and Hannah might create. Gavin and April started making some phone calls and visits to Hannah’s previous foster parents. They helped Gavin and April understand Hannah’s issues and included them on doctor and therapy visits. Gavin and April soon found themselves falling in love with the little girl.

Since they have made her part of their family over one year ago, Gavin and April have seen Hannah make great progress. She has blossomed into a happy and loving child, thriving on the love and support from her adoptive parents.
