Benefit helps families as they work toward self-sufficiency
Job and Family Services of Clark County (JFSCC) pays part of the cost of child care for qualifying families as they work toward self-sufficiency—while the parents are at work, attending school or completing vocational training.
Families receiving this benefit must take their children to child care providers who are certified by JFSCC or child care providers that are licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and under contract with JFSCC. The child care benefit is paid directly to the child care provider or center, and families are expected to pay a part of the cost based on income and family size.
