APRIL  -  JUNE 2009

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month
We all play a part in strengthening families.

This month and throughout the year, Family & Children Services of Clark County encourages all individuals and organizations to play a role in making Clark County a better place for families.

By ensuring that parents have the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to care for their children, we can help prevent child abuse and neglect by strengthening families and communities.

April is a time to celebrate the important role that communities play in protecting children. Everyone's participation is critical. In recognition of child abuse awareness, a “Pinwheels for Prevention Health Fair” is being held on Saturday April 25, 2009 from 12:00pm-3:00pm at the Upper Valley Mall.  There will be entertainment, door prizes and informational booths set up for the fair.  We hope to see you & your family at this event!
