How to report suspected fraud

Help us assure proper use of funds for those who need assistance
 

The Fraud and Benefit Recovery Unit of Job & Family Services of Clark County prevents and detects fraudulent use of public assistance benefits—helping to make sure funds are available for those who need help. Cases of fraud are referred to the county prosecutor for criminal or civil action and JFS collection of overpayment of benefits are in accordance with state and federal regulations.


Benefits overseen by the Fraud and Benefit Recovery Unit include Ohio Works First; Prevention, Retention and Contingency (PRC) funds; Food Assistance; Disability Assistance; Medicaid; and Child Care funds.
