State Bed Bug Resources for Residents in Region 5

Bed Bug populations are increasing nationwide and their control is difficult, time consuming, and often expensive. This Web page was developed as a resource for residents to learn about this problem, to provide information on their management, including the selection of insecticides and a pest management professional, and tell residents where to file a complaint if an improper pesticide application is suspected. This web site draws primarily from resources developed by EPA Region 5 partners and stakeholders.

In addition to the EPA resources, this page directs residents to non-EPA websites with additional information about bedbugs. EPA has not verified the accuracy of information on non-EPA websites, but the sites provided are considered reliable sources. Providing links to a non-EPA websites is not an endorsement of the other site or the information it contains by EPA or any of its employees.
