We improve the quality of life for families and individuals through:
- Supportive services that help meet basic needs
- Employment and job training programs that lead to self-sufficiency
- Protective services to provide children and older adults safe, stable living environments
- Child support services to promote the well-being of children whose parents live apart
The Department partners with families, businesses and community organizations to provide these services through four divisions: BenefitsPlus, WorkPlus, Family & Children Services and Child Support Services.
