Ohio Youth Works (OYW) Summer Program - Application is below        

The OhioMeansJobs|Clark County job center is accepting applications for the OYW summer employment program.  This program replaces the traditional TANF summer youth employment program and is available for only youth, ages 14-15. 

 

ABOUT THE     Through the OYW program, youth receive supervised on-the-job-training for eight

PROGRAM:     weeks beginning June 1, 2017 through July 31, 2017.  Youth must successfully complete

                          their scheduled pre-employment orientation before being matched up to a job.  If there are more participants than available jobs, eligible teens may be placed on a waiting list.

 

WHO IS           Clark County youth, ages 14-15 who are enrolled in secondary school whose family income

ELIGIBLE?        is below 200% of the Monthly Federal Poverty Guidelines. 

 

WHERE ARE    The OYW Summer Employment Program is operated through the OhioMeansJobs|Clark County,

WE LOCATED? located at 1345 Lagonda Avenue.  Employment opportunities are county-wide.  Transportation

                            may be available.
